China Orphanage Projects

Jeff, Carol and Amy Book Steve & Linda Lilly

Jeff and Carol Book care for the babies at the Kunming orphanage where many of the babies are abandoned girls.  They also have started a foster care program for handicapped children.  They have placed over 140 handicapped children in loving Chinese homes in the past 3 years.  In some cases in Western China, handicapped children and baby girls are not seen as having much worth.  Our support will give some of these children a chance at life.

Kingdom Investors would like to help the Lillys and the Books in the following areas:

C-1:  Hebei Province Church Orphanage
Cost:  $6,000 yearly or $500 per month.

C-2:  Kunming Baby Orphanage and Handicapped Children Foster Care
Cost:  $6,000 yearly or $500 per month
Steve and Linda Lilly are good friends with Kingdom Investors. The Lilly's spoke at our 2002 Annual Meeting. They are currently working with a Chinese drug rehab center in one province; working on translating Teen Challenge materials into Chinese; and, assisting with an abandoned baby program.

They also help two church-run orphanages with the continuing costs of operating their projects and caring for the children.
